Dan Woolley

Dan brings a blend of knowledge and expertise to the fields of whitewater park design and stream channel restoration, acquired during his 20 years of whitewater kayaking experience, 10 years professional consulting experience, and the completion of a Master’s Degree of Civil Engineering in Hydraulics and River Mechanics from Colorado State University. Dan has planned, permitted, designed and overseen construction of numerous stream channel stabilization and restoration projects and river recreation enhancements. Dan’s formal education and training in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Fluvial Geomorphology, National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) compliance, and Federal, State, and local permitting requirements provides him with the skills necessary to successfully complete even the most challenging river projects.
